Work out what a single disability or community support shift actually pays — Saturday, Sunday and public-holiday penalties, midnight splits, sleepovers and the 1 July 2026 rates, resolved by state. No login.
Single shift only — fortnight overtime, rest-break penalties and broken-shift allowances are handled in the full product.Ordinary hours on a Saturday are paid at 150% (175% for casuals); Sundays at 200% (225% for casuals). The 25% casual loading is built into the casual penalty — it isn't added on top. The calculator splits your shift at midnight and applies the right multiplier to each calendar day.
From 1 July 2026 SCHADS rates rise by the 4.75% Annual Wage Review increase. For example the Home care disability Level 2 pay point 1 rate moves from $27.55 to $28.86 an hour, and the sleepover allowance from $60.02 to $62.87. Pick a shift date on or after 1 July 2026 and the calculator uses the new rates automatically.
Ordinary hours on a public holiday are paid at 250% (275% for casuals). Public holidays are state-specific, so the calculator resolves them from the worker's state and the shift's date.
